Villa Nada is a prestigious villa with stunning sea views, garden and private garage, located in the Pegli district of Genoa, in an extremely prestigious setting, bordered by a few other centuries-old villas and the elegant Villa Centurione Doria Park and very close to the renowned Villa Durazzo-Pallavicini park.
The villa was designed and built by the chief engineer for the construction of the transatlantic liner Rex. The architectural features of the villa reflect the transition from an eclectic architectural style to a more purely Art Nouveau era. This is reflected above all in the interiors, softened by Art Nouveau decorations on the floors, frescoed ceilings, staircases and loggias, while the façade is more austere.
The villa is organised in such a way that it can be used by a single family for the main part with a flat for the caretaker, or, as currently used, divided into floors to serve several families.
The basement consists of the staff flat with two bedrooms, hallway, kitchen, bathroom, a laundry room and two large cellars.
On the ground floor, the main entrance with a large hall, living room, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms and a bathroom, with the possibility of building a second bathroom.
On the first floor, five bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and loggia.
On the second floor, a hallway, kitchen, bathroom, two bedrooms and a splendid large loggia with a fireplace crowned by a colonnade: a delightful portico with a breathtaking view of the sea.
The villa is surrounded by a refined garden and a comfortable garage, which can be easily extended. |
Genoa is the most important city on the Ligurian Riviera, it has the largest historical centre in Europe made up of ancient aristocratic palaces and fishermen's houses, it has a very popular opera house, numerous museums, an airport and provides all the possibilities that a modern city can offer. Situated by the sea, just half an hour from Portofino, it is nevertheless close to major metropolitan centres such as Milan (140 km) and Turin (170 km) and to prestigious ski resorts that can be reached in just two hours. |
